It is ritual in which little girl is worshipped as an incarnation of Shakti (Goddess Durga). It is one of the special attraction of Durga Puja and they celebrate this faith as a ceremonious worship of young girls as Divine Mother. The Saffron clad monks perform this ritual where the girl is bathed in the ganga water and is dressed with red and yellow saree & adorned with jewelry.
