Simon Cowell is ready to splash out an astonishing L30 million pounds on a mansion in Barbados. The 61-year-old reality TV star has sold his Los Angeles home and is planning to splash the cash on the place called Cove Spring House. He previously used the property as his base on his 'X Factor' TV show and has stayed there on holiday. One pal said:" Since breaking his back, he's been reassessing his priorities and has been enjoying a slower, more laid pace of life. "He's sold his pad in Los Angeles and wants a permanent base in Barbados where he can totally unwind and get away from everything." Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently stayed at the getaway - which boasts ten bedrooms and ten bathrooms. The 14,000 square foot mansion can be found tucked away on the prestigious Platinum West Coast of Barbados. It has a large swimming pool, an entertainment terrace, a gym and spa facilities on site. The plush villa has also hosted multiple celebrities including Elton John, Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant over the years. The mansion sits on 56,628 square feet of grounds and can be accessed via a private gated driveway. It's surrounded by stunning views of the Caribbean seas and lush vegetation. Designed using coral stone, the house is bursting with natural light while trade winds cool the home. The master bedroom suite is located on the first floor, with a walk-in closet, dressing room and marble-accented bathrooms. The property also boasts a state-of-the-art fitness centre and kitchen space. To top it off, the mansion has its own secluded private beach. It comes with 19 members of staff including butlers, chefs, maids, gardeners and 24-hour security. There's also a separate three-bedroom guest cottage, which spans 2,500 square feet and has its own patio space. There's also quarters for staff members.
