VIDEO: 'Cruel' commuter slammed for wearing jacket filled with LIVE cockroaches
A cruel commuter stunned fellow travellers after wearing a jacket filled with live cockroaches.
The man was spotted on a train platform in the transparent plastic garment full of the insects.
He seemed oblivious to the shock of others around him.
A social media video showed the bizarre scene on the New York City subway.
It has been viewed 2.6m times and had over 28,000 likes.
Michelle Rojas Blackett witnessed the man's insect antics, as reported by creatorzine.com.
The 31-year-old human resources worker, from Manhattan, said: "I saw him on my commute home at the Spring Street stop in Soho.
"I saw a man standing there with an odd looking jacket only to realize that it had bugs in it and that they were cockroaches.
"Other people were staring and making faces or laughing or just in pure shock.
"He seemed completely unfazed by it all."
Viewers were shocked.
One said: "I don’t like roaches but keeping living things in sealed plastic just doesn’t feel humane."
Another said: "Is it illegal if I spray him with Raid?"
While a third added: "This stopped me in my tracks."
And another person said: "This might be the most untouchable man in NYC."
