HARE CHEEK... This cheeky hare has a bit of an attitude problem... It was seen bouncing in the grass before blowing a raspberry towards the camera in Fakenham, Norfolk, UK. Sue Wood who pictured the furry chap said, “This hare had been grazing in the cornfield close to other hares, and as is normal at this time of year, it suddenly sprung into action as if looking for fun. Several hares were chasing around the tram lines where the tractors had left tracks, and he popped up to look to see what was going on. As he turned towards me he stuck out his tongue as though it was blowing a raspberry at me!” Please byline: Sue Wood/Solent News © Sue Wood/Solent News & Photo Agency UK +44 (0) 2380 458800 *** Local Caption *** Where and when were these taken? Taken on Monday 8th April in a cornfield near Fakenham, Norfolk What kind of hare was this? This is a Brown hare It looks like it was scavenging for food, did you see any other behaviours? It had been grazing in the cornfield close to other hares, and (as is normal at this time of year), it suddenly sprung into action as if looking for fun! Several hares were chasing around the tram lines (where the tractors have left tracks), and he popped up to look to see what was going on! As he turned towards me he stuck out his tongue... It looks as though it was blowing a raspberry towards you, would you agree? Most certainly!
