These are my MANE weapons... A lion shows off his teeth with a big yawn. The big cat woke up from an afternoon nap before yawning and displaying his teeth to the photographer. The intimate moment was captured by Dr Yogesh Jibhakate who took these photos in the grassland of Masai Mara, Kenya in the evening last August. The 42-year-old eye surgeon from Bhandara, India described it as Òa moment to be cherished forever.Ó He said, ÒI was waiting patiently for two hours as the lion and lioness were sleeping and after a good afternoon nap, he woke up and started yawning. They didn't mind our presence at all. My favourite thing about this shot is the transition from an innocent sleeping creature to a fierce, majestic, dangerous and killer animal. This was actually my first encounter with lions in our life." We were waiting patiently since 2 hours as the Lion and Lioness was sleeping and after a good afternoon nap only Lion woke up and started yawning . They didn't mind our presence at all. 4. I agree that lions were relaxing . It was our sheer luck that we saw his inner world of oral cavity with details of his toung striations. 5.
