Ex-crematorium technician flogging pet coffins… for goldfish
A woman is selling a pet coffin on Facebook Marketplace for just £3.
But it is so small, you could bury a goldfish in it.
They are also suitable for hamsters or budgies.
The coffin is purple with metal studs on the outside.
Claire-Anita Chamberlain, found herself in possession of a tiny casket after a gothic stall owner left their contents behind at a market.
She quipped: “I won’t fit in it.”
But, what started as a joke turned into a new business venture, with Claire-Anita now planning to flog her own pet coffins.
“I put it on Facebook for three quid, and a woman got in touch with me straight away, she wanted it.
But she was too far away.”
Claire-Anita, of Bradford, added: “I thought I could easily make these for small pets.”
“Believe it or not, I used to be in the funeral industry, so I know all the funeral directors and everything.”
Turns out, that due to a budgie bereavement, the pet coffin will be put to good use by Claire-Anita’s friend.
