UK:THIS STUNNING COLLECTION presents beautiful and delicately colourised images of the best of British Royalty.The detailed colourised images include a young Prince Arthur from 1857 and Queen Elizabeth in the 1950sOne image shows The Duke of York (George V) with his firstborn son Prince Edward (Edward VIII), 1894Another image shows Queen Victoria and her granddaughters Princess Victoria of Wales and Princess Helena Victoria of Schleswig-Holstein in June 1898These images were colourised by Mikhaela Go (24) from Manila, Philippines.Mikhaela is a very talented artist who started colourising when she was just 12 years old“I started colourising since I was about 12 years old with a colourisation app that I had on my phone before moving onto other softwares,” said Mikhaela.“I enjoy being able to bring the old black and white photographs to life“Although the process of colouring can be tedious at times, it could also be really enjoyable.“I find colouring the British royals amazing as I can find information that could prove very helpful in figuring out the colour of their hair, dresses, uniforms, and even furniture“Colourising an image could last about an hour to three days, or even a weekÃłespecially the heavily detailed photograph“There’s not really a particular method I use, most of the time I just go with the flow and see what works with an image I currently work with“I do a lot of research for improvement, and sometimes, I let my creativity play. I don’t use any kind of auto-colourisations, I start from scratch.”
