Members of The King's Army (the royalist half of the English Civil War Society) retrace the final journey in 1649 of King Charles I who was led from St James's Palace to Banqueting House on Whitehall to be beheaded. The full-costumed march comprises volunteers in royalist costumes and mounted troops with weapons commemorating what they call "His Majestie's horrid murder".
