The Silvestri Mountains (or Silvestri Craters) are two pyroclastic cones formed north of Nicolosi, at an altitude of about 1,900 m, on the slopes of the Etna volcano. Today they are among the best known cones of the entire volcanic building because they are close to one of the most popular tourist areas of Etna, that of the Sapienza Refuge and the Etna Cableway: between Monte Silvestri Superiore and the one immediately below, Monte Silvestri Lower, the provincial road SP 92 which passes from Nicolosi leads to the square of the Sapienza Refuge and then goes back down to Zafferana Etnea.

Les Monts Silvestri (ou Cratères Silvestri) sont deux cônes pyroclastiques formés au nord de Nicolosi, à une altitude d'environ 1 900 m, sur les pentes du volcan Etna. Ils sont aujourd'hui parmi les cônes les plus connus de tout l'édifice volcanique car ils sont proches d'une des zones touristiques les plus populaires de l'Etna, celle du refuge Sapienza et du téléphérique de l'Etna : entre le Mont Silvestri supérieur et celui immédiatement en dessous, le Mont Silvestri inférieur, la route provinciale SP 92 qui passe de Nicolosi mène à la place du refuge Sapienza et redescend ensuite à Zafferana Etnea.
