Pic shows: In Peru, a military plane crashed into a police station. This video shows a Peruvian Navy aeroplane stuck halfway into a police headquarters building in the moments following the crash. The apparent accident took place at around 11am when the Antonov AN-32B plane collided with the Mazamari Los Sinchis Base of the National Police at Mazamari Airport in the province of Satipo in central Peru???s Junin region. The video taken by a witness running up to the crash site shows the huge plane halfway in to the police building, having smashed down a brick wall. The craft???s propellers are still turning. Peruvian media reported that the aeroplane had sped off a nearby runway into the building when its brakes failed. It had been transporting armed forces personnel but remarkably it was reported that there had been no injuries from people on board or in the police HQ. At the time of the impact, the flight was under the control of Peru???s Joint Command of the Armed Forces (COCOFA). Peruvian media said that an investigation into the cause of the accident was due to begin as soon as possible. Netizen ???Yare1212??? commented on the video after it was released on social media: The aeroplane is a naval aviation one and crashed into the police base at Mazamari ??Sthank God without victims. I urge for an investigation." ???Gino GT??? added: "I hope God did not let anything bad happen to the occupants." (ends)
