Sekou Kosso, one of the professional masons of Djenne, Mali, works to finish the crepissage, or re-plastering, of a local mud-built home on April 14, 2018. The homes within Djenne's city limits are built in the same manner as the Great Mosque of Djenne, and also require a new layer of mud each year in order to keep their structural integrity.
