CHILLING FOOTAGE showing former Nazi leader Adolf Hitler visiting wounded soldiers shortly after surviving an assassination attempt gives fresh insight into how the dictator sought to project strength to the German people after nearly being killed. The Nazi propaganda video shows Hitler arriving with his entourage at a hospital for military veterans, where he is shown around before holding conversations with several of the soldiers, some of whom are seriously injured. The film then shows Hitler leaving the hospital and being greeted by a crowd of adoring members of the public giving him the Nazi salute, with the camera then showing several high-ranking members of the Nazi party, including Hermann Goering and Josef Goebbels, chatting amongst themselves outside the hospital / Public Domain / mediadrumworld.com

The album was masterminded by Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels in the early years of the Third Reich. It has a cover inscribed with the words "Adolph Hitler" in gothic type-face, and was one of many that were released during the 1930s. This particular collection was brought home by a British soldier and has remained in his family ever since. The album has an estimate of several hundred pounds and will be sold by Mullocks auctioneers. The sale at auction house Jefferys in Lostwithiel, Cornwall, is slated for September 26 and has sparked international interest. The 21 paintings and tow pencil drawings emerged in Belgium last year after Jefferys sold another of Hitler's efforts for ??5,200. An anonymous woman in Belgium heard of the sale and approached Jefferys to handle the sale of her inherited collection. The paintings -signed A Hitler or AH - were authenticated by tests and research. The paper was found to be the right age - the paintings date from the First World War - and the scenes depicted are places close to where the twenty-something soldier Hitler was stationed at the time. Hitler was rejected from the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna twice as a young man, and later opted for a career as the world's worst despot. A Jefferys spokesman said: ??It's not great artwork. This is an amateur artist with an amount of talent.'' But the quality of the artwork is irrelevant in this case, as Hitler and Nazi memorabilia has become a multi-million pound industry over the last few decades. PHOTO: EAST NEWS/REX FEATURES Watercolour on paper - town houses with a green to the background Paintings attributed to Adolf Hitler for sale at auction, Britain - Aug 2006 HITLER PAINTINGS GO UNDER HAMMER A series of watercolours by Adolf Hitler is expecting to fetch tens of thousands of pounds next month when offered for sale at auction. (NYT12) MUNICH, Germany -- Aug. 19, 2002 -- TV-HITLER -- CBS executives and producers, Alliance Atlantis, a respected Canadian film and television company, havr developed a four-hour mini-series to be an accurate study of Hitler as a youth until his ascension to power in 1933. The project's critics, feel that the very idea of a drama about Hitler's youth is appalling and bound to unwittingly create a sense of sympathy for one of history's great villains.
