Surfing sandhill!…This cheeky sandhill crane takes a quick ride on a friend’s back as they swoop through the sky. The remarkable moment was spotted in the Platte River Valley in Nebraska, USA. Software executive Peter Batty said, “I was watching the sandhill cranes coming in to land - as they descend they hold their wings still and float down like they have a parachute.” “As I was watching, one of the cranes appeared to be momentarily surfing on the back of another!
