Zaha Hadid CBE is a notable British deconstructivist architect. Born in Baghdad, Iraq, she studied architecture in London. Some of her high-profile interior work include the Mind Zone at the Millennium Dome in London and the 20,000-seat Aquatics Centre for London, one of the new venues being constructed for the 2012 Summer Olympics. Zaha Hidid is a winner of many international competitions and was the first female recipient of the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2004. She is also a member of the editorial board of the Encyclopaedia Britannica. ?
