Crego proudly spoke of the tattoo parlor where he was working in Jasonville, Indiana, while on the run from assault charges in Lockport, New York. He even bragged on Facebook about how the police would never find him, cracking jokes about a "wanted" piece about him in New York papers. But officers easily found out the information - and after arresting him, posted their own message. "It was due to your diligence in keeping us informed that now you are under arrest," officers wrote in a message since removed.
