And everyone loves Adidas, yeah? So it makes perfect sense for two of the coolest names in branding and merchandising to club together and produce the Adidas Originals X Star Wars Collection, a range of footwear and clothing displaying themes from the legendary sci-fi film series. And who better to help promote the range than one of Adidas's biggest fans, Darth Vader? Oops, I meant Snoop Dogg of course. The canine-monikered rapper strutted his stuff alongside the only other guy as bad as him in this galaxy, Lord Vader, who brought along his own posse of stromtroopers to the New York launch. Hip hop star Snoop is appearing alongside David Beckham and French electro duo Daft Punk in a new television advert for the collection. The 'Star Wars' collection includes images of cult characters and storylines from the three original films on classic Adidas Originals styles. Footwear from the range references the "light" and "dark" sides, Imperial forces and Rebel Alliance.
