Spring is in the air as a female robin builds a nest in a Suffolk garden.
Wildlife photographer Kevin Sawford captured the bird gathering moss, dead leaves and grass as it constructed its new home.
Kevin said, ‘Female robins only build the nest and I spotted this bird taking nesting materials to an ivy-clad tree stump in our garden.
"I was able to sit in a shed close by so as not to disturb the bird and photographed it over a few days as it brought in the various materials to the nest site.
"The bird would pause briefly close to the nest site before flying up to it which enabled me to capture the images."
