Mansion owned by the real British TON is up for sale – just days before new Bridgerton season airs
The long-awaited release of Bridgerton’s third season is just days away, with the first four episodes to air on Netflix next week (16 May).

A mansion owned by the prominent Bonham-Carter family has gone up for sale in Adhurst, a hamlet in Hampshire, reports What's The Jam.
The full estate – Adhurst St Mary – is divided into three, with the West Court, the largest portion, being listed for £2.75m.
Set across 32 acres, with luscious gardens, eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, it is the ultimate home to retreat to once the season ends.
It was originally owned by John Carter, (1788-1838), a high-profile politician and barrister.
He was born into the “Whig” oligarchy, which dominated the corporation of Portsmouth, with his father, Sir John Carter, serving as mayor of the port city.
After inheriting some estate from his cousin, Thomas Bonham, in 1827, he officially changed his name and the Bonham-Carter family was created.
Adhurst St Mary was designed by Victorian architect Phillip Hardwick.
Stepping inside, the wooden panelled walls encompass the large entrance, with tan leather chairs and a gold framed mirror, along with a chandelier, adding a touch of royalty.
Upstairs, the artist’s studio is set up with canvases, which are lit up by the skylight window.
In one bathroom, the original fireplace remains, with a touch of modern design from various artworks and white tiling.
Doubling up as a dressing room, there’s ample space to prepare for a grand dinner with guests.
The bedrooms, while simple in design, still ooze luxury with velvet headboards and high ceilings.
