Man finds haunting ‘GRIM REAPER’ ice figure outside house – giving Facebook users ‘nightmares’
A man has found a terrifying figure of the ‘Grim Reaper’ made of ice outside his home – and it’s giving Facebook users ‘nightmares’.
Ben Tucci, 67, previously made headlines two years ago after the creepy ice formation first appeared outside his house on Lake Erie in Dunnville, Ontario, Canada.
The figure was formed, he believes, by water from the lake’s waves falling over the lamp post outside his home, and freezing to create the haunting shapes.
The infamous ice shape has returned once again with this month’s frost – and it’s as creepy as ever.
“The image on the lamppost [this year] has more of a ghostly appearance than [the original] Grim Reaper,” Ben told https://whatsthejam.com.
“I'm thinking the nickname for it might be ‘The Return of the Grim Reaper’ or ‘Bride of the Grim Reaper’.
“I was really excited to see a return of images again this winter.
“They come to visit in one form or other, every winter.”
Ben shared pictures of the latest haunting figure on Facebook, where viewers were stunned to see it’s return – comparing it to both the dementors and Voldemort in the Harry Potter series.
