Hunters and police officers exterminate a bear in Higashi Ward, Sapporo City, Hokkaido Prefecture, northern Japan, on June 18, 2021. Around 3:30 am on June 18th, a bear appeared in the city area, and four people were attacked and injured. The sites where bears were witnessed are all near the Sapporo Municipal Subway Toho Line where are urban areas with residents and commercial facilities.
