Both cubs on mum's back ALASKA ADORABLE images of a few months old brown bear cub getting a piggyback ride on his mum were captured in Lake Clark National Park in Alaska. This bear family can be seen enjoying the lake and spending quality time together, with the cubs getting rides on their mother’s back. Lake Clark National Park and Preserve is an American national park in southwest Alaska, about 100 miles southwest of Anchorage. It was first proclaimed a national monument in 1978 and established as a national park and preserve in 1980 by the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act. The Act directs the park to protect habitat for brown bears, among other fish and wildlife species. These rare images of brown bears were captured by Linda D Lester, a wildlife photographer from Florida. “The mum is showing her cubs how to swim across the swim, and when they do, they climb on her back to get back up the stream. “But, during this lesson, one cub decided to stay on mum’s back, surprising the mum. “It was an amazing moment to see them accomplish this new task.” ENDs
