The 'Paco Pastel' bakery won the title of best torrijas in the Community of Madrid in 2021, awarded by the Association of Artisan Pastry and Bakery Entrepreneurs of the Community of Madrid. Torrijas, a typical sweet of Lent and Easter, are prepared with slices of bread soaked in milk or wine and that, after being coated in egg, are fried in a pan with oil.
