The mayor of Saracinesco Marco Orsola visiting the vast area set as the location for the first bio-park for the cultivation of medical cannabis. The produce of the cultivation will serve as the core treatment for many kind of patients attending the specifically designed health resort. The area is located at a short walk from the River Aniene. Saracinesco is a small central Italian village of 182 inhabitants. It's 'the site of a pilot project for the cultivation of hemp both for industrial and therapeutic purposes. The project includes the creation of a phyto-therapeutic bio-park and a health resort to treat patients following a medically assisted cannabinoid-based therapy. The project is supported by the city council and by institutions such as the Roma Tre University and the University of Tuscia.
