Christian is a patient who has been following a cannabis derivatives treatment for the cure of pain since two years. Former Hockey player, he had a severe car accident; he ended up in a coma and underwent multiple orthopedic operation. After the failed therapy with opioids, he has found new life thanks to the treatment with cannabinoids. Saracinesco is a small central Italian village of 182 inhabitants. It's 'the site of a pilot project for the cultivation of hemp both for industrial and therapeutic purposes. The project includes the creation of a phyto-therapeutic bio-park and a health resort to treat patients following a medically assisted cannabinoid-based therapy. The project is supported by the city council and by institutions such as the Roma Tre University and the University of Tuscia.
