The launch of the pilot project in Saracinesco, with the collaboration of several associations related to the protection and information about what can be considered "cannabis made in Italy". Among these, the Hemp Info Point, which merges and coordinates many smaller associations. Saracinesco is a small central Italian village of 182 inhabitants. It's 'the site of a pilot project for the cultivation of hemp both for industrial and therapeutic purposes. The project includes the creation of a phyto-therapeutic bio-park and a health resort to treat patients following a medically assisted cannabinoid-based therapy. The project is supported by the city council and by institutions such as the Roma Tre University and the University of Tuscia.
