Having discovered this quirky lodge in a secluded location on the outskirts of Godalming, Bruce realised that with time, vision and effort, he could create a very stylish home. Over the years, this property, built in 1900, has seen many changes and been extended several times by various owners. Apart from deciding to injecting a much more contemporary look throughout, Bruce has cleverly rejigged the upstairs layout. By moving walls and building above the snug, he's gained an extra bedroom on the first floor. Downstairs, floors have been levelled and the old windows removed to make the house lighter and to give it a much more cohesive feel. The front door has been changed and the former 'hotch-potch' property is now a stunning five bedroom home with ample space.
