Farmers directly transfer these to the capital to get proper value. After a nigh- long ten hours journey, the farmers get tired and take some rest on the watermelon boat. After selling these at good price, the lovely smile is seen on the face of farmers. The wholesalers buy these fruits at a low cost and sell in a higher rate. 1000 pieces of watermelone are sold at 10,000 BDT. The price became triple after selling at the wholesale market. However, the fruits sellers are happy getting good harvest this year. This is not common scenario in the area as watermelone is a seasonal fruits. The tiredsome task of transporting these huge size fruits bring joy to the life of farmers as it is a profitable goods to them.
