SAMSUN, TURKIYE - MAY 09: Egret flies over the Kizilirmak Delta, where 365 bird species have been identified and efforts are underway to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage Permanent List in Samsun, Turkiye on May 09, 2024. The Kizilirmak Delta is also one of the sanctuary centers for bird species endangered by extinction. Significant numbers of little cormorants, little egrets, plegadis, white-headed ducks, little gulls and white-winged terns can be observed during migration in the region.
