DR Janet Ros has had a long-standing career in early years education, training and provision both nationally and internationally. Before joining Norland, she was a Reader in Education and Early Years Education Award and Programme Leader at Bath Spa University.
Today’s Norland nannies commit to this three-year course at 18 – perhaps tempted by the higher-wages paid in compensation for the dedication and isolation that can come with private service – with the college carefully curating their selection of future representatives: the students are middle-class Generation Zs, with men now breaking the uniformity of their ranks.

Le Dr Janet Ros a une longue carrière dans l'éducation, la formation et la prestation de services aux jeunes enfants, tant au niveau national qu'international. Avant de rejoindre le Norland College, elle a été lectrice dans le domaine de l'éducation et de l'éducation de la petite enfance et responsable du programme à l'université de Bath Spa.
Aujourd'hui, les nounous du Norland s'engagent à 18 ans dans ce cursus de trois ans - peut-ń™tre tentées par les salaires plus élevés versés en compensation du dévouement et de l'isolement qui peuvent accompagner le service privé -, le collège étant chargé de sélectionner avec soin ses futurs représentants : les étudiants sont majoritairement issus de la classe moyenne, les hommes brisant désormais l'uniformité de leurs rangs.
