The white Nissan Qashqai was seen going backwards down the one-way residential street. The elderly lady was strolling down the road facing any oncoming traffic. But the reversing SUV came up behind her and knocked her to the ground. Thankfully she was unhurt and sat up on the tarmac as a pair bystanders rushed over to help her. The driver moved the car forward slightly. Two women got out of the Qashqai, firstly one from the passenger side, then the driver. The horror moment was captured in a 25-second video from a CCTV camera on a neighbouring house. The four of them tended to It happened just before 12:30pm on Sunday (5 May) in Southall, West London, as reported on NeedToKnow. The four of them checked she was okay and helped her up as the clip came to an end. But locals were divided on who was at fault.
