(FILES) US author Paul Auster holds his book '4321' during a photocall at the Royal Festival Hall in London on October 16, 2017, ahead of tomorrow's announcement of the winner of the 2017 Man Booker Prize for Fiction. Paul Auster, the prolific American author whose works included "The New York Trilogy," has died of complications from lung cancer, the New York Times reported April 30, 2024. He was 77.
