AP Historical Hard Drive 2009
Crowd which gathered in front of the country court house at Hartford, Conn., on March 5, 1932 when Henry Johnson, a deckhand, was held for questioning in connection with the Lindbergh case after his automobile containing a milk bottle was found in that city. Johnson was employed on the yacht of Thomas W. Lamont. At writing the questioning had not obtained any definite results, although it was established he was a friend of Miss Betty Gow, Charles Lindbergh nurse. (AP Photo)
