Former French Colonel Yves Godard shown in an undated photo. Godard took part in the Algiers putsch of 1961. After the putsch failed, he joined the OAS, but left Algeria and stayed underground until 1967. Godard has been reported arrested by police in Brussels, in late May 1967. Godard had been sentenced to death twice in France for his action in the Secret Army Organization. Godard, who did not return to France after amnesty, died in Belgiium in 1975 (AP Photo)
