The kingfisher emerges from the water, successful. Lincolnshire, UK: THIS ONCE in a lifetime shot that took four years to perfect shows an exquisitely reflected kingfisher emerging from a local river with its catch. In another stunning split-second image, the kingfisher is seen exploding jubilantly from the water, having successfully caught its lunch. The kingfisher, which can dive at speeds of up to 25 mile-per-hour, is seen shooting upwards with its prize held tightly in its beak. This was taken moments before its wings unfurled. Amateur photographer Dave Newman (42) explained how he took the incredible sequence at Gren West River in Lincolnshire. mediadrumworld.com/@daves_spherical_photography
