Photo: Piotr Molecki/East News Poland’s human rights ombudsman Adam Bodnar arrives at the Constitutional Tribunal for the announcement of the judgment whether the ombudsman can remain in his post after the end the term, when the successor wasn't appointed on April 15, 2021 in Warsaw, Poland. Constitutional Tribunal decided that it's unconstitutional for the human rights ombudsman to continue his work after his term even if the successor wasn't appointed. Current ombudsman Adam Bodnar must leave the office in three months. Bodnar's five-year term expired in September 2020 and since then Parliament was unable to agree on a replacement.
