Pictured: Buffalos being led by a worker to a hot spring in Turkey. Buffalos are taken to a hot spring to be washed by shepherds who play games and enjoy the spa for hours in Turkey. The young villagers from Bitlis, Turkey take their buffalos to thermal waters nearly every week in the winter for two to three hours to keep their livestock clean and healthy. Buffalo milk is valuable as it is used to make butter, yoghurt and cheese which is then sold at local markets. Young people and even children, working as shepherds, take the flock of up to 100 buffalos to hot springs during the colder months.
