After tumbling down the grassy hill, the pair of koalas land at the feet of cameraman. ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA: The MOMENT two koalas get into a scuffle over who gets to sit in a tree has been caught on film. In possibly the cutest fight ever witnessed, two 15-pound koalas were seen facing off in trees adjacent to one another. One of the koalas then made its way over to its rival?s tree, causing a brawl to ensue in which both creatures rolled down an embankment and onto a gravel path below. Despite the cameraman?s efforts to tell the pair to break it up, the two koalas took turns wrestling each other to the ground, before bounding off after one another along the path. The adorable footage was taken by sales coordinator Scott Schrapel (43) from Adelaide, Australia whilst he was out for a walk in the Anstey Hill National Park near his home. He captured the fight, which lasted just 30 seconds from just five feet away using an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Tragically, as many as 10,000 koalas are estimated to have perished in the New South Wales bushfires of 2020. With the population of koalas in the wild declining by up to two-thirds in the past 20 years alone, due to the destruction of their habitat and global warming, scientists have predicted that koalas could become extinct as soon as 2050 without urgent intervention. mediadrumworld.com / Scott Schrapel
