KENYA: Najin(mother) and Fatu(daughter)are the last two remaining northern white rhinos in the world. They live in a large gated and protected area where they are free to roam and are looked after 24 hours a day by Ol Pejeta?s caretakers and armed NPR (National Police Reservists). BREATHTAKING images showing the conservation efforts to protect the world?s LAST two remaining white rhinos have been revealed. In one picture, a caretaker could be seen stroking a 3,747-pound female white rhino as she snuggled in some straw and in another, a man with a rifle stood protecting the animal from the threat of poachers. In another image, the rhinos who are mother and daughter blissfully taking a drink of water and enjoying human company. The stunning pictures were taken in Laikipia County, Kenya, by wildlife photographer Justin Mott (42) from Smithfield, Rhode Island, USA, and form part of his Kindred Guardians series which shines a light on humans who dedicate their lives to wildlife conservation. Justin used Leica M10D and Leica Q cameras to capture his breath-taking images. Mediadrumimages/Justin Mott
