In the clip, the four young people, aged between 12-13 according to reports, can be seen running after a horrific crash in which they reportedly overturned a car they had allegedly stolen. The footage shows the immediate aftermath of the Mitsubishi ASX colliding with a Toyota Camry on the Gold Coast Highway, at Pacific Fair Drive near Broadbeach after it had jumped a red light. Joseph Willis, 28, from the Gold Coast, filmed the scene from his balcony, around 4pm on Sunday 21 February. In the clip, he can be heard saying ??sOh my God, not again," ??" referencing the fact that this crash wasn't the first to happen outside of his home. He had captured young people exiting a car that had been crashed and flipped on 3rd January this year too. In subsequent videos, Joseph films the kids hiding in local resident's gardens before calmly walking away in a group down a different street. ??sI was in my boardies enjoying a cold beer, cooking a bbq, and I just heard a loud bang,??? the photographer told Jam Press. [sic] ??sI whipped the phone from my pocket and started to capture the moment when four kids ??" three girls aged 13 and one boy aged 12 ??" all crawled out from under the car and legged it. ??sSome kids had been on a rampage stealing cars, going on joyrides and apparently flipping them.??? Within minutes, the police helicopter and multiple police were searching the area for the group, and they have since been arrested.
