Black panther Akilla relaxes at the Dutch Fondation Lion (Stichting-Leew foundation) in Anna Paulowna on November 10, 2020. - Akilla disappeared from the radar a year ago after being stolen from the Maubeuge zoo in September 2019, where she was entrusted after being rescued from a roof top in Armenticres, in the north of France. She was recently located by the association Action Protection Animale (APA) in the Netherlands who took a DNA sample and confirmed that the Dutch panther Akilla and the French panther Louise are in fact the same animal. The feline made the headlines after she was photographed roaming on the roof of a building in Armenticres. Then a few months old, the panther had passed through the window of the apartment where she lived, left open, before being captured by the firefighters. (Photo by JOHN THYS / AFP)
