It was taken in Mogilev, Belarus. They said: "I suddenly saw an unusual lunar halo in the night sky and hurried into the forest to take a picture of it. It was an amazing sight when in the night sky, the halo was like the eye of God. I've never seen this form of halo before. It was freezing weather and I couldn't stay in the forest for a long time, but I really wanted to take a picture of this image. Weather Photographer of the Year - 2020 An incredible picture of people crossing Brooklyn Bridge in New York in a blizzard has been picked as the winner in the Weather Photographer of the Year contest. Rudolf Sulgan's image, Blizzard, was chosen as the overall winner from 7,700 entries in the competition, organised by the Reading-based Royal Meteorological Society (RMetS), which celebrates its 170th anniversary this year.The popular competition, which is now in its fifth year and run in association with AccuWeather, attracted entries from around the world. They ranged from weather phenomena such as clouds, lightning, rain, fog or snow through to the impact of weather on humans, cities and the natural landscape. More than 2,600 photographers submitted images, creating a challenging task for the judging panel.
