Former Miss World finalist graduates with Masters from Cambridge University, UK - 29 Nov 2019 A pretty doctor and former Miss World finalist has graduated from Cambridge University with a Master's degree in public health. Carina Tyrrell, who graduated from prestigious Cambridge University with a degree in medicine three years ago and who will be a judge at Miss World next month, has been awarded an MPhil. The 30-year-old proved she has brains as well as beauty when she was crowned Miss England in 2014 and went on to come fourth in Miss World later that year. She spent two years working as a junior doctor in Oxford, practising in all departments of the hospital, including A&E, then returned to Cambridge University last September. Over the last year she has been studying for her Master's at her former college, Murray Edwards, as well as working during the holidays for the NHS in East Anglia as a public health doctor.
