Common cranes flying over the Puy de Sancy in the Massif Central in central southern France - 2014. Christian Moullec, holding a degree in meteorology, reverted to his boyhood passion for birds as a young adult. Today's impassioned ornithologist, photographer, cameraman began flying with birds in the mid-1990's - in a bid to guide their migration to areas where they would be protected to reduce their declining numbers; Europe's bird population has decreased by 420,000 over the past 30 years.
