Teddy's Big Adventure: Giant Bear Takes To The Streets Of Warsaw Teddy's Big Adventure: Giant Bear Takes To The Streets Of Warsaw An oversized teddy bear has been photographed by famous landmarks in Warsaw and once the tourist Ted had finished its tour it was spotted sunbathing. The large, grey bear nicknamed 'The Cuddly' has been created by Polish artist Iza Rutkowska in an attempt to get passersby to engage and interact with the loveable sculpture. She believes most of the monuments in Warsaw are invisible to its inhabitants and have become neglected and ignored as they commemorate the Second World War which totally devastated the city. Using a faithful friend from people's childhood Iza has created the six-and-a-half metre tall bear, which is impossible to blend in to the background, and placed it by well-known buildings around Warsaw.
