Polar bear cubs eat plastic while their mother naps. When the bears find it difficult to find food, they can end up eating bin bags which smell like fish.
Olav Thokle took these photos in Liefdefjorden in Svalbard, a Norwegian archipelago. The 58-year-old who lives near Aalesund in Norway said: "I don't know why the polar bears ate the plastic pieces. SEE OUR COPY FOR DETAILS.
