The camera trap gets spotted by the fox
HILARIOUS images of a curious Arabian Red Fox exploring a camera have been captured.
The photographer placed the camera trap close to the fox’s den to capture its behaviour but ended up getting something much better.
When the fox spotted the setup, it got curious and started biting it until it fell. That scared the fox, and it ran away.
This Arabian Red fox is a solitary animal photographed in the outskirts of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
It is highly adapted to desert life, with larger ears and a smaller body.
These comical images were captured by French wildlife photographer Vacher Remi (34) with a Canon EOS R7 camera and 16mm RF2.8 lens.
“I was 30 feet away from the fox, hidden away behind rocks and clicked these images from there,” he said.
“I had waited two hours for the fox to come out of its den.
“This fox wasn’t fazed by my presence at all; he kept looking at me and hanging around.
“He even went for my bag later on, and it was quite fun.”
