Lioness and her cub share some love ZAMBIA ADORABLE images of a lioness showering her little one with affection were captured in South Luangwa National Park, Zambia. This four-month-old lion cub can be seen rubbing against his mum and enjoying affectionate licks from her. This duo is part of the very famous “Hollywood Pride” of Zambia, which is known for its good looks and splendid genes. These cute images were captured by a British wildlife photographer, Nathalie Mountain (53). “We had come across the pride earlier that morning of the shoot and witnessed them hunting a buffalo,” she said. “But they failed to get it, and the two lionesses who had cubs separated from the pride resting in the shade and returned to their cubs who had been left safely some distance away under a tree. “The cubs were very pleased that their mothers had returned, and they greeted them with the usual lion head rubs and reassuring licks. “It is always such a privilege to watch wild animals behaving naturally in their environment, particularly when they are cute lion cubs. “Capturing those fleeting moments that you miss in the blink of an eye is always so special, and you can really see the bond and emotion between a mother and her cub.” ENDs
