SURFS UP! The unlikely sight of a swan riding waves like a surfer was spotted on a Baltic Sea beach as the male took a break from nesting duties. The moment was snapped on Timmendorf Beach in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany by Stephanie Dittmer. The 56 year old photographer said, “I first saw a couple of swans sitting on their nest. The male looked like he wanted a break to enjoy himself, so he got up.” “He approached the sea and looked like he was really having fun, having the waves crashing over him. Interestingly the nest was located directly on the promenade where tourists can wander quite close by.” Please byline: Stephanie Dittmer/Solent News © Stephanie Dittmer/Solent News & Photo Agency UK +44 (0) 2380 458800 *** Local Caption *** Hi Andrew, Dave and Olli here come the different files that tell the story of a male swan, protecting is family, but unfortunately chasing the innocent beach walker and her dog directly into the direction of Mrs. swan and the nest ... I left the file names included as they will give you not only the right order of the action, but also helps us, which photo you may or may not have sold. Please let me know, how the process now continues and what else around the story you might need from me. Best wishes, looking forward to working with you Stephanie
