The lions chill out in the tree TANZANIA, AFRICA HEART WARMING images show a family of lions seeking shelter from the blistering African sun by lounging in a tree. The images show the lion family playing and investigating the tree before getting ready for a cat nap while the adults stand guard. These images were captured by engineer Gurcharan Roopra (45) from Nairobi, Kenya. Gurcharan captured the chilled out cats in Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, Africa on his Nikon Z9 and 180-400 lens. “I saw a family of lions sitting on the tree,” said Gurcharan “Seeing lions up there is not a very typical, it's more usual with Leopards “It was an amazing feeling to see something different like this “My favourite image has to be the one when the mother is looking directly at me. There is so much connection. “I love spending time in nature, that completes me, and when I get lucky to get shots like this, it's so special.” ENDS
