The amazing Range Rover Classic, has only 17,000 miles on it and went from new to used to transport Mike Tyson in June 2000 to Hampden Park, Glasgow in what was Tyson's second fight in the UK.
He famously defeated his underdog opponent Lou Savarese in less than a minute during that fight and called out Lennox Lewis, stating "I want your heart, I want to eat your children. Praise be to Allah."
This range rover will be going up for auction alongside 30 other range rovers and land rovers in an auction hosted by Classic Car Auctions.
“The 1994 Range Rover Vogue LSE in question is a bonkers limousine conversion with ties to legendary boxer Mike Tyson,” states the listing.
“The stretched SUV, which was originally commissioned by the Sultan of Brunei, was reportedly used to chauffeur the former heavyweight champ around Glasgow in 2000.
“The modification cost a staggering $171,600 (Ł135,000) to complete, according to the auction house. Townley Cross Country Vehicles worked on the vehicle for nine months, extending the chassis and body by 40 inches and raising the roof by eight.
“The team also installed a laminated sunroof, darkened the windows, added a one-piece opening tailgate, and finished the exterior in Rolls-Royce Mason Black paint.
“The interior was given a makeover, too. The cabin features Oxblood Connolly leather, Wilton carpeting, and Burr Walnut trim. It is also equipped with three plush captain chairs, an electric center division with a glass panel, and an entertainment system comprising two TV monitors, a CD player, and a VHS player.
“Under the hood lies a 4.3-liter V-8 capable of producing 200 hp and 251 ft lbs of torque.”
